JUST IN: Muslim Congresswoman Caught In SICK Crime. Should She Go To Prison?

With Obama gone (good riddance!), Democrats are so desperate for leadership, they fawn and drool over any mildly charismatic non-white Democrat who comes their way. One of their latest darlings is Somali Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar, of Minnesota.

Omar has some serious skeletons in her closet that are haunting her and the Democrat Party. It turns out that she married her own brother in a scheme to fool US immigration officials AND supported refugee fraud in her state! (via World News Daily)

Omar is exactly what the modern Democrat Party loves. Ethnically “diverse” (non-white), female, Muslim, and politically devoted to Socialism. She also takes constant jabs at President Trump just because it’s the “cool” thing to do.

Recently, Omar appeared on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah in the dying program’s latest effort to remain relevant. Noah spent the entire segment putting Omar on a pedestal. For a Muslim, the Minnesota Congresswoman certainly has no sense of humility.

She said of herself: “I am America’s hope, and Trump’s nightmare.” Hilarious. She actually has the nerve to call herself “America’s hope?” There’s no doubt she’s angling for a Presidential run in 2020. Some people are so obvious!

American Left Adopts Taliban Tactics in Destruction of Historical Icons

As the American left targets historical icons for removal and/or destruction, one is reminded of the way the Taliban destroyed centuries-old Buddhist statues and the Islamic State’s ongoing violence against Christian churches and landmarks.

In short, the American left, the Taliban, and the Islamic State (ISIS) hold two things in common. First, an inability to appreciate the whole of history as it happened, which includes good times and bad. And secondly, a tendency to express this lack of appreciation via violence and destruction.

For example, on March 12, 2001, the Telegraph reported that “the world’s two largest standing Buddhas – one of them 165ft high – were blown up by the Taliban in Afghanistan.” The statues were 1,700 years old, yet the Taliban “drilled holes into the torsos of the two statues and then placed dynamite charges inside the holes to blow them up.”

Taliban Foreign Minister Wakil Ahmad Muttawakil said, “We do admit the relics were the cultural heritage of Afghanistan, but the part that contradicts our Islamic beliefs we would not like to have them any more.”

In a similar vein, following the toppling of the Confederate statue in Durham, North Carolina, Workers World Party member Qasima Wideman said, “If the people decide they want to remove such a statue, that should be their right,” according to CNN.

And National Geographic shows that the tactic of destroying history has been a big part of the Islamic State’s method of operation. The Islamic state destroyed the ancient ruins of Palmyra–consisting of “colonnaded avenues and impressive temples.” This included one temple which had endured for 1,900 years, only to be blown to bits in August 2015. Democrat Activists Urge National Push Against Confederate Statues

Democratic leaders and activists — including the CAIR Islamic group — are expanding their 2017 culture war against Confederate historical statues and landmarks, boosting concerns that progressive ‘Antifa’ groups and white-power fascists may again collide during mismanaged public demonstrations.

Donna Brazile, who has twice worked as the temporary chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, tweeted an article on Monday calling for the removal of eight Confederate statues now displayed in Congress.

The linked Atlantic article urged state legislators to replace the statues:

Even without the historical circumstances of the Capitol Hill statues’ arrival, there is virtually no justification for their continued presence. Nor can it be said there aren’t better native sons and daughters to honor. Virginia could replace [General Robert E.] Lee with John Marshall, the legendary chief justice and father of the American rule of law, or Tuskegee Institute founder Booker T. Washington. If it needs a Civil War hero, why not George Henry Thomas? Alabama could select author Harper Lee or jazz legend Nat King Cole. Georgia could replace [Confederate Vice President Alexander] Stephens with Casimir Pulaski, a Polish Revolutionary War hero who died in the battle of Savannah, or a full statue of Martin Luther King, Jr., who already has a bust elsewhere in the Capitol.

The article linked to a July article in the Atlantic noting Gen. Lee ‘s support for racial subordination before and even after the Civil War.

On Monday, Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh announced she would revive plans to move four Confederate-related statues from the city to confederate cemeteries away from their current locations.

A Saturday statement by Mayor Jim Gray of Lexington, Kentucky, said he will try to persuade the city council to tear down two Confederate-themed statues, one of the failed cavalry general John Hunt Morgan and the other of John C. Breckinridge, who was both a general and a U.S. Senator. “We have thoroughly examined this issue, and heard from many of our citizens,” Gray said. “The tragic events in Charlottesville today have accelerated the announcement I intended to make next week.” The two statues would be moved to a nearby park.

The major of New Orleans has already ordered the removal of several Confederate-themed statues from downtown. Read more about Democrat Activists Urge National Push Against Confederate Statues

Kamala Harris: Private Ownership of ‘Assault Weapons’ Must End

Sen. Kamala Harris (D), former attorney general of California, says it is “long past time” to end private ownership of “assault weapons.”

Harris made clear that her desire is to renew the federal “assault weapons” ban that was in place from 1994 to 2004, tweeting:

No proof exists that the federal “assault weapons” ban kept anyone safe. The New York Times reported that the ban was an outgrowth of Democrats’ desire to look tough on crime during former President Bill Clinton’s administration. In an effort to do this, the “Democrats created and banned [an entire] category of guns.” It was political expediency at its best. Chief Strategist Steve Bannon Out at White House: ‘Get Ready for Bannon the Barbarian’

White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon — the former Breitbart News executive chairman who helped guide then-candidate Donald Trump’s flagging presidential campaign to a historic victory — is on his way out of the White House, with a source close to Bannon telling Axios: “Get ready for Bannon the barbarian.”

Axios first reported that Bannon, who was brought on to the campaign in August to replace Paul Manafort as campaign chairman, was expected to depart from the White House imminently.

Soon after, the Drudge Report issued a siren on the site’s front page, declaring: “Bannon Out at White House” adding that he was “moving on after an impressive run.”

Meanwhile, the New York Times also reported that President Trump had decided to remove Bannon, but Trump and senior White House officials were debating “when and how to dismiss” Bannon.

The Times reported that a person close to Bannon insisted that a departure was Bannon’s idea and that a resignation had been submitted on August 7 — but the protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, had delayed his departure. Bill Clinton’s Accusers Demand Removal of Statue in South Dakota

The left’s push to remove controversial monuments and statues across the country may be backfiring, as President Bill Clinton’s alleged victims are now demanding a statue of the liberal icon in South Dakota be removed.

Left-wing activists, including many top Democratic politicians, have been demanding the removal of statues and monuments of Confederate generals across the U.S. — with some event taking it into their own hands and removing them themselves.

But now Juanita Broaddrick, who claims she was raped by Clinton in the 1970’s, is adding a statue of the Democratic icon to the list.

“I would like to ‘personally’ use a sledgehammer on it, with the help of Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones,” Broaddrick told the American Mirror, referring to other alleged victims of Clinton’s sexual advances.

Jones backed up Broaddrick, saying she agreed with the call to pull down the statue to the man she says showed her his “crooked pee pee.”

“Yes I am 100% offended…and all WOMEN should be too,” Jones wrote on Facebook.

Clinton was impeached in 1998 by the House of Representatives for lying under oath and obstructing justice in relation to a sexual relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. It was Jones’ sexual harassment suit that led to the Lewinsky revelations. Clinton was later acquitted by the Senate. Read more about Bill Clinton’s Accusers Demand Removal of Statue in South Dakota

New York Times: Some Charlottesville Protesters Were Not White Supremacists, Nazis

President Donald Trump has evoked strong criticism from politicians and pundits after telling reporters on Tuesday that there were “very fine people on both sides” in Charlottesville.

But support for the president’s claim has come from an unlikely source: the “failing” New York Times, which interviewed one of those “very fine” people for an article otherwise critical of Trump, arguing that his remarks have led to a widening split in the Republican Party.

The Times reported Wednesday evening:

”Good people can go to Charlottesville,” said Michelle Piercy, a night shift worker at a Wichita, Kan., retirement home, who drove all night with a conservative group that opposed the planned removal of a statue of the Confederate general Robert E. Lee.

After listening to Mr. Trump on Tuesday, she said it was as if he had channeled her and her friends — all gun-loving defenders of free speech, she said, who had no interest in standing with Nazis or white supremacists: ”It’s almost like he talked to one of our people.”

Conservatives like Ms. Piercy, who have grown only more emboldened after Charlottesville, believe that the political and media elite hold them and Mr. Trump to a harsh double standard that demands they answer for the sins of a radical, racist fringe. They largely accept Mr. Trump’s contention that these same forces are using Charlottesville as an excuse to undermine his presidency, and by extension, their vote.

Anecdotally, reports of other, similar individuals have been circulating online. Read more about New York Times: Some Charlottesville Protesters Were Not White Supremacists, Nazis

Mike Pence Defends Donald Trump on Charlottesville Response, Highlights Antifa Agitators

Vice President Mike Pence not only defended President Donald Trump’s response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, while speaking during a visit to the South American country of Colombia, but he reminded the media that there was violence among the Antifa agitators, who went there to disrupt the “Unite the Right” rally.

Pence spoke out during a Sunday joint news conference with Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, Politico reported.

“I will say I take issue with the fact that many in the national media spent more time criticizing the president’s words than they did criticizing those that perpetrated the violence to begin with,” Pence said.

“We should be putting the attention where it belongs,” Pence added, “and that is on those extremist groups that need to be pushed out of the public debate entirely and discredited for the hate groups and dangerous fringe groups that they are.”

The vice president also noted that the Trump administration is not letting white supremacists escape criticism. Read more about Mike Pence Defends Donald Trump on Charlottesville Response, Highlights Antifa Agitators

Top Black Pastor Breaks Rank, Sides With Trump In EPIC Rebuke Of Charlottesville…

Confederate flag. President Donald Trump received major support from Bishop E.W. Jackson, a top black pastor in Virginia.

He echoed the same points of unity, while also condemning both sides causing problems and inciting violence, just like the commander in chief noted on Saturday.

In a Facebook video on Saturday during the events in Charlottesville, Jackson commented on the chaos: “Both sides of this want us divided racially.”

“They want to turn everything into a racial issue. They believe that somehow … our country really is black against white – we’re not that at all. We are a nation founded on principle – not race. Both [sides] are more interested in racial division than they are in us becoming one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.”

The bishop also recommended that Confederate flag and monuments – aside from personal property – be placed where people who wish to view them can do so. He suggests that unifying objects – such as the American flag – be considered for public monuments and symbols.
